So, we got married on April 26, 2008, and today's our very first anniversary. We managed not to kill each other despite all the events that took place since our wedding:
- Apr 08: Wedding (not everything went as planned...)
- July 08: I transferred from my position in Lawrenceville, IL, to one in Erlanger, KY.
- July - Nov 08: I stayed with my parents in KY while Dawn stayed in IN to sell the house.
- Oct 08: The house in Indiana finally sold! ... at a significant loss...
- Oct - Nov 08: Dawn looked at more than 50 houses in KY to buy.
- Nov 08: We close on a house and quickly move from IN to KY. We are finally back together!
- Nov 08 - Now: We are still trying to settle down
Living apart from each other for several months, and me having to work long hours during this incidental economic downturn have been very testing on our marriage. I would like to think that we are growing closer as we go through and survive these challenging circumstances.
This blog will document these events and our thoughts with our entries and pictures for our own learning opportunities and for your entertainment. :-) Both Dawn and I will be making entries and anybody is welcome to leave comments.
