Japanese Restaurant In… Mexico??

Federico (we call him Fred), the plant manager of the plant that I'm visiting, wanted to take us to this Japanese restaurant in Saltillo. Since the president of the Mexican Region had already told me that there is no Japanese restaurant around here, I was pretty skeptical. Sure, there was no Japanese working there, nor it looked like a traditional Japanese restaurant, but food was good! Of course, we ended up ordering too much stuff, so I feel like I’m about to explode…

Our party of four included Fred, Ben (our HR guy), myself and Armando. Armando was somebody that we happen to run into at the hotel we are staying. He and Fred used to work together, and I happen to know him from my previous project in San Antonio. Of course, Fred and I didn’t know that Armando was our mutual acquaintance, so it was kinda freaky to run into him in Saltillo of all the places (none of us live in Saltillo, btw).

Sushi Itto is the name of the restaurant. No I don’t know what that means…
Japanese Mexican Fusion Sushi with avocado and mango. Zesty & Tasty!
